Merry Christmas

It seems that this time of year, it’s easy for us to get distracted by our busy schedules, Christmas shopping and other activities. The Burton family always looks forward to this time together, to reflect on the activities and family developments this year. The holidays offer a brief respite from partisanship in Washington, DC and a time to be back home in God’s country- Indiana. It’s also time to reflect on the true reason for the season- the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. We hope that you can find the same peace this holiday season.

Let us also not forget our fighting men overseas, particularly those in Iraq and Afghanistan, who are “on the front lines” defending our freedom. This year they will not be gathering with family. Many are away from wives and children. Let’s remember them in our prayers.
